​As a logical continuation of the cooperation, a comprehensive excursion was organized for students of the Academic Lyceum at the Department of Urology of the Tashkent State Medical University. This meeting allowed students to feel the breath of real clinical life and get acquainted with the hospital environment. During the excursion, young people saw with their own eyes the classrooms of the department, the modern conditions created for students, and the organization of teaching processes. They were told in an interesting and simple language about the specific aspects of the examination of patients, the role of modern medical techniques in diagnosis, as well as about medicines and instrumental procedures in the field of urology.
​The students were especially impressed by the technical capabilities of the department and the sophisticated equipment in the operating rooms. Experienced teachers introduced them to endoscopic and laparoscopic equipment used in urology and gave them an idea of ​​how to perform complex operations using non-surgical, minimally invasive methods. The excursion was not limited to observation, but continued in the form of an open dialogue; during it, students found answers to all their questions about the educational process at the university, the activities of scientific circles, and the secrets of becoming a successful surgeon in the future. This visit further increased the students’ love and interest in medicine, further strengthening their goals to become true masters of their field in the future. Our department is always ready to support and guide such young people who are thirsty for knowledge.
