The prestigious international conference “Central Asian Endourology Congress 2026”, held on April 24-26, 2026, has become one of the largest platforms in Central Asia for discussing modern achievements and future prospects in the field of urology. The team of the Department of Urology of Tashkent State Medical University actively participated in this prestigious event with its scientific potential and rich experience, once again demonstrating the prestige of the Uzbek school of urology on an international scale.
During the conference, prominent scientists of our department, Professors Akilov F.A., Mukhtarov Sh.T., Giyasov Sh.I. and Nosirov F.R. chaired several important scientific sections of the congress. During the moderatorship of our professors, heated scientific debates were held among specialists from different countries of the world, and innovative solutions to the current problems of endourology were proposed. Such a high level of participation confirms that our department is a leading scientific center not only in our country, but also in the region.
The most joyful event of the congress was the scientific competition among young urologists. Jahongir Shodmonov, a graduate of our department, made a great impression on all participants and the jury with his high-tech and in-depth analysis-based presentation. According to the final results, Jahongir Shodmonov was recognized as the absolute winner in the nomination “Best Young Urologist” and received a ticket to the prestigious advanced training course at the world-famous Cambridge University in Great Britain.
Such achievements serve as a real source of motivation for masters and clinical residents studying at our department. The success of the young specialist in the international arena once again proves how well the traditions of the teacher-student relationship in the department are being established and that the doors of world medicine are always open for our youth. This triumphant participation clearly demonstrates the contribution of the staff of our department to bringing the field of urology to a new level.
