Urological diseases encompass a wide range of conditions. Specifically, benign prostatic hyperplasia, erectile dysfunction, infertility, bladder stones, kidney stones, and other issues are among them.

— Since the beginning of this year, our team of specialists has enhanced their expertise in the United States, Italy, and India, — says Shukhrat Mukhtarov, the director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Urology. — Additionally, collaboration agreements have been signed with two leading clinics in Russia and India, marking a significant step in the development of the field.

Over 3,600 surgical procedures have been carried out at our center since the beginning of the year, with more than 2,000 of them being complex operations.

Recently, a resident of the Chirchik district sought our medical center on his own initiative. He had been suffering from prostatic hyperplasia for several years.

Due to the inability to urinate, he underwent a cystostomy through the abdominal wall, continuing to live with a cystostomic drainage.

Since then, after the surgeries conducted in 2020, he not only successfully got rid of the constant drainage but also regained the ability to return to a full life.

He underwent a surgery to remove the artificial stone, and after 9 days, he received a response from the hospital about further treatment on an outpatient basis. The patient recovered, the drainage was removed, and his condition significantly improved.

It is important to note that such laparoscopic surgeries at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Urology are considered unique in Central Asia.
