On October 3–4, 2025, the city of Tashkent hosted the European School of Urology (ESU) and the 4th Plenum of Uzbek Urologists.
This major scientific and practical event brought together leading national and international experts in the field of urology.
🔹 The conference was organized by the Department of Urology of Tashkent State Medical University (TSMU) in cooperation with the European Association of Urology (EAU) and the Association of Urologists of Uzbekistan.
The event gathered foreign and local scientists, professors, and practicing urologists. Among the guests were renowned specialists from Germany, Italy, France, India, Turkey, and other countries who shared their lectures and clinical experiences.
🔹 The program included discussions on:
the latest innovations in urology,
advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic surgical techniques,
topics related to urolithiasis, prostate diseases, oncourology, and reproductive health.
In addition, hands-on workshops and practical sessions were organized, providing young urologists with opportunities to improve their professional skills.
🔹 The TSMU Department of Urology played a key organizational role in this international event. Faculty members presented the recent achievements of Uzbek urology and strengthened academic and clinical cooperation with international colleagues.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants agreed to expand scientific collaboration, launch joint research projects, and develop international training programs for young urologists.
